Atiku Hits Back at PDP Governors, Hints at Coalition Move

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has fired back at governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who rejected any form of coalition or merger with other political parties.

In a post shared on his X handle yesterday, Atiku declared that “the coalition train has left the station”, adding that it would make multiple stops to bring on board Nigerians from all walks of life.

The former PDP presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections also hinted at the possibility of dumping the party in his bid to contest the next election. He warned party leaders against being swayed by minor financial offers that could compromise their political future.

Atiku expressed optimism that the coalition would be unveiled soon, calling on Nigerians to join what he described as a broad-based movement for national revival.
