Dangote Refinery has announced a reduction in the price of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), also known as petrol, for marketers.
The price, previously set at nine hundred and ninety naira per litre, has now been reduced to nine hundred and seventy naira per litre for marketers purchasing the product directly from the refinery.
In a statement issued today, Anthony Chiejina, the Group Chief Branding and Communications Officer of Dangote Group, explained that the price adjustment was a gesture of appreciation to the people of Nigeria for their continued support in making the refinery a reality.
Additionally, Dangote Refinery and the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) have reached an agreement, after several discussions, allowing for the direct lifting of petroleum products from the refinery.
