The Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, is set to swear in the newly elected local government council chairmen today, 23rd February.
This was confirmed by his Special Assistant on Digital Media, Olalekan Badmus, via his X account last night where he noted that the swearing-in ceremony will take place at the Government House in Osogbo, the state capital.
This comes amid controversy surrounding the polls, which were held yesterday after the Osun State Independent Electoral Commission, announced that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) won all the local government and councillor positions in the just-concluded local government election in the state.
