President of the Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mining, and Agriculture (KWACCIMA), Chief Mrs. Ronke Adeyemi SAN, has promised a more impactful Trade Fair in the coming year.
Speaking on Monday, December 16, which was the last day of the 11th Kwara Trade Fair, the KWACCIMA President expressed gratitude to participants and stakeholders who contributed to the event despite economic challenges. She emphasized that the trade fair is not merely a marketplace but a platform for forming valuable business connections.
“Trade fair is not only for buying and selling. It’s majorly for making contact,” Mrs. Adeyemi said.
“Kwara trade fair is one of the biggest in the north central, and we can assure you, by the grace of God, next year will be bigger and better.”
Acknowledging the struggles faced due to the current economic climate, she remained optimistic, stating that the event showcased resilience and the potential for growth among entrepreneurs in Kwara State. She thanked God for the fair’s successes and commended participants for their efforts.
Meanwhile, the Chairman of the Kwara/Kogi States Branch of the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Mr. Mubarak Damilola Shittu, also praised the display by exhibitors and the organizers’ commitment to advancing the state’s economy.
“I congratulate the exhibitors and the organizers of this great event. We’ve seen the ideas of Kwarans being exhibited here, and we assure that next year, the 12th Kwara fair will be better and bigger than this,” Mr. Shittu remarked, officially declaring the event closed.
The 11th Kwara Trade Fair, which ran under the theme “Unlocking Investment Potential of Kwara State for Sustainable Economic Development,” showed the state’s determination to foster innovation and attract investment opportunities.
