A midnight fire that engulfed a fleet of trucks at the Alagbede Tipper garage, Ilorin in Ilorin South Local Government Area of Kwara State in the early hours of yesterday has destroyed three out of 42 parked in the garage.
According to reports, the fire incident that broke out around 1:45 am from a waste collection truck parked in the garage, causing severe damage to three trucks in the garage.
In his remarks the Director of the Kwara State Fire Service, Prince Falade John, urged the public to remain vigilant and adopt strict fire safety measures to prevent such incidents.
Speaking further, he assured that the Kwara State Fire Service remains committed to protecting lives and property through proactive fire prevention and swift emergency response.
