Kwara Government Warns Students Against Loitering During School Hours

The Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development has warned the students to stop loitering during school hours to enable them to actualize their parents’ dreams.

This comes after twenty students were picked up on the streets during school hours in Ilorin, the Kwara state capital.

In a statement from the state Ministry of Education and Human Capital Development disclosed today, the ministry’s Commissioner, Hajia Sa’adatu Modibbo Kawu, advised the parents to continue partnering with their schools and be involved in their children’s education to ensure that they are on track.

The commissioner asserted that the state government will not cease in its determination to ensure that all indigent children in the state become successful by providing inclusive and quality education to the citizenry.

In another development, the state government has expressed dissatisfaction over the recent unruly attitude exhibited by some students of Government Day Secondary School, Adeta, and Government High School, Adeta, in Ilorin metropolis.

While taking a tour on the school, Hajia Modibbo Kawu assured them of government intervention, as she urged the students to have a change of attitude and remain focused on their studies to have a blissful future.
