NUC Re-accredits All 25 Undergraduate Programmes at KWASU

The National Universities Commission, NUC, has re-accredited all 25 undergraduate programmes submitted by Kwara State University during its October/November 2024 accreditation exercise.


A statement released today by the university’s Acting Director of University Relations, Saeedat Aliyu, showed that 21 of the programmes received full accreditation, while four were granted interim status.

Programmes with full accreditation include Taxation, Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries Management, Food Engineering, Biochemistry, Environmental Management and Toxicology, Physics, and Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, among others.

Meanwhile, French, Mathematics Education, English Education, and Yoruba Education received interim accreditation.

Programmes with full accreditation are valid for five years, while interim accreditation lasts for two years before a re-evaluation.
