
French D1 Arkema giants, Paris Saint-Germain, have confirmed the signing of Super Falcons skipper Rasheedat Ajibade on a free transfer.
Ajibade moved to PSG on a free transfer after severing ties with Spanish club Atletico Madrid in June.
The 25-year-old is now the second Nigerian st PSG with midfielder Jennifer Echegini already a key member of the team.
The winger started her professional career in Norway with Avaldsn IL.
Ajibade netted 12 goals in 39 appearances for the club.
She spent five years with Atletico Madrid, winning two trophies – Supercopa de Espana, and Copa de la Reina.
On the international scene, Ajibade captained the Super Falcons to win the title at the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations in June.
The former FC Robo Queens star was named Player of the Tournament.
