Suspended Kogi Central Senator, Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has denied claims made by United States-based activist and media personality, Sandra Duru, concerning her recent sexual harassment allegations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio.
Duru had released a one-hour, eight-minute Facebook livestream, presenting phone call logs and WhatsApp chats, alleging that Akpoti-Uduaghan tried to involve her in a scheme to falsely accuse Akpabio of sexual harassment and organ harvesting.
Responding in a personally signed statement, Akpoti-Uduaghan described Duru’s claims as manipulated and false.
She accused Duru of playing out a script on behalf of Senator Akpabio, adding that the voice and statements attributed to her in the livestream were fabricated, promising to address the allegations in more detail at a later time.
