The Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Peoples Democratic Party, Senator Adolphus Wabara, has said the ruling All Progressives Congress will soon implode.
Speaking in Abuja yesterday, Wabara claimed the defection of PDP members to the APC would cause internal crises, displacing loyal APC members who helped build the party.
He also accused President Bola Tinubu of attempting to turn Nigeria into a one-party state, warning that such moves could lead to tyranny and endanger democracy.
Reacting to recent defections from the PDP in Delta State, Wabara described the development as a blessing in disguise, saying that the PDP would not be weakened by the loss.
He predicted that Nigerians would reject the APC in the 2027 elections because of the hardship and economic difficulties they have faced under its leadership.
